June 1st is Final Deadline for NHSFR Art Contest

Denver, CO - Time is running out to submit your entry for the 2006 NHSRA Art Contest! The final deadline for submissions is June 1, 2006.

The winning entry may be used on the cover of the 2006 National High School Finals Rodeo Program. And of course, there’s a $500 college scholarship up for grabs as well. Artwork must follow the guidelines below:

• Any art medium that can be reproduced in a print shop may be used. These include pen and ink, water color, oil, colored pencil, and black and white or color photography. Entries may be in either black and white or color.
• The entry must be in a vertical format only.
• Entry must be the original work of the artist. Entries may be based on pictures or other artwork. However, no computer-generated artwork, clip art, photocopies or traced or copied artwork of any kind will be accepted.
• Subject matter should be representative of the NHSRA in some way.
• Each artist may submit only one entry and it must be submitted with the official entry form from the NHSRA Times.
A copy of the entry form is included in the April and May editions of the NHSRA Times.
• Entries must be received by the NHSRA at 12001 Tejon, Suite 128, Denver, CO 80234 no later than June 1, 2006.
