The 20X Rodeo High Telecast Series is now available
RFD-TV is home to the best in High School Rodeo action!20X Rodeo High will start its new action-packed season on July 1st, 2009. The exciting half hour programs takes you to Tennessee, New Mexico, Texas and Arizona as junior high and high school rodeo competitors give it their all to take belt buckles, saddles and the skills that will lead them into college and professional rodeo careers. 20X Rodeo High covers several State Finals events where contestants go head to head trying to qualify for the Wrangler Junior High Finals Rodeo and the National High School Finals Rodeo, the crown jewel events of the NHSRA. A talented team of hosts breaks down the action each week. When you tune in to 20X Rodeo High do not be surprised to see the faces and hear the voices of rodeo greats giving tips to the high school competitors and sharing stories and valued advice from their high school rodeo days.Each year the show takes you to the Wrangler Junior High Finals Rodeo where 6th, 7th and 9th graders rope and ride their way to national titles in Gallup, NM. Also, the National High School Finals Rodeo, the largest youth rodeo event in the world, features the top contestants from each state competing in their favorite events to win individual championships as well as team championships. The NHSRA is proud to announce their new production company for the 2009 season. Geronimo Productions is a Tulsa, Oklahoma based television production company that specializes in the games cowboy and cowgirl’s play. The company founder and President is Jeff Medders, who has built his career hosting rodeo, bull riding and equestrian events. In 2009 Geronimo will turn its energy and creative drive on the best National High School Rodeo Association events across the country. Geronimo will have as many as seven cameras rolling at every televised NHSRA event capturing all the action in High-Definition. The veteran cameramen on hand are among the very best in the country. Photographers who can be found looking through the viewfinder courtside in the NBA, on safari in Africa, the sidelines of an NFL game and even the Olympics. At a NHSRA event- lights, camera, actions means Geronimo Productions is hard at work giving the RFD-TV viewing audience a taste of the excitement, passions and competition that makes 20X Rodeo High a MUST watch program on RFD-TV every Wednesday night, 52 weeks a year! The eyes and ears and the official main host of the 20X Rodeo High telecast for 2009 will be none other than cowboy and actor Ty O’Neal McClary. Ty grew up competing in rodeo and working on big screen films. His outgoing personality and stellar roping skills scored him a starring role in the Disney film The Mighty Ducks. Ty brings his experience as a rodeo cowboy and pick-up man to your television every week as he hosts and gives play-by play action on 20X Rodeo High. The NHSRA is thrilled to have him as our go-to-commentator for 2009! Special guest hosts this year will include, Jeff Medders and Annie Bianco. Jeff will be doing double duty as not only the producer of the 20x Rodeo High series, but will be joining Ty in the studio for color commentary and sponsor features. Jeff is well known for his on air talents. He has hosted the most prestigious rodeo and equestrian events on television today including the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. Annie Bianco is new to the NHSRA broadcast team and will be host to the Prescott, AZ event and the Wrangler Junior High Finals. Annie is a World Champion Mounted Shooter and has been seen in such shows as "Cowboy U".
